Fresh from a restoration carried out in Australia, was this charming vintage racer, which is now owned and campaigned by former Chrysler Engineering czar Francois Castaing. In its day, many such Chryslers were bought new in the U.S., shipped to Europe and campaigned in great races like LeMans in virtually stock trim. Even battling Bentleys and DeLages, the rugged Chryslers often finished in the top five. The car was originally delivered to Brussels, and so it is finished to look as though it were competing at Spa. The 4.5-liter six sports a mild hike in compression ratio, dual carbs, shorter gearing, and is good for 160 horsepower.
