Regarded by many as the most magnificent creations from the era of American grand classics, Duesenbergs were also very sophisticated machines for their day. This 1932 J model, a dual cowl phaeton with bodywork from the California-based Murphy coach works, was propelled by an inline eight-cylinder engine generating 265 horsepower. The convertible Duesey is owned by Dick Kughn, of Dearborn, Michigan, former chairman and CEO of Lionel, the famous model train company.
