This one-of-a-kind Brunn-bodied seven-passenger limousine was built for Mary Garden in 1934, powered by a 462-cubic-inch V-12. In its day, such Pierce-Arrows were priced and regarded slightly above Cadillacs, but the depression years were not kind to manufacturers of high-end cars like this that didn’t offer any mainstream products, and by May of 1938 the Rochester, New York company was declared insolvent and was ordered sold at auction.
