This diminutive little racer has had quite the storied history. It won its class at LeMans in 1935 and eventually was sold to American racer and founder of the Automobile Racing Club of America, Miles Colier. The car raced often, and without so much of a scratch — then it hit a taxi in New York and the body was trashed. The replacement bodywork was intended to boost its aerodynamics, and it competed at LeMans again in 1939 but retired with a ruptured fuel tank. It remained in active racing duty through the 50s.
