The Fleetwood catalogue for 1936 offered three custom bespoke bodies that could be mounted to the exclusive V-16 Cadillac chassis, but found few takers in the depression-era economy. In fact, not one car was built to this sportsman’s roadster design. So 12 years ago the owner of this car decided to build one for himself, designing the body from painstakingly studying the various illustrations that remain. This car won the New Coachwork class.
