Powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, this streamliner won the 2.0-liter class at LeMans in 1937, and took sixth overall, averaging 90 mph. Its cooling system works well at 90, but was nearing the boiling point during its slow pass across the reviewing stand. Adler was later folded into Germany’s Auto Union empire.
