Forget Sprite; this is refreshing. Off to one side of the lawn, away from all the shiny show cars, sat this slightly worn 1924 Isotta Fraschini. Paint a little faded, tires showing a few miles, this car appeared to be one that got out with a little more frequency than most at the show. Owner Laverne Johnson tells us that, “the car gets driven a lot. It gets used a lot in parades.” Although, he adds, “it got driven a lot more when the kids were home.” For those of us who had to beg Mom for the station wagon (or minivan) on weekends, that’s an interesting concept.
