For its 20th Anniversary (gosh, has it really been 20 years?), Infiniti is providing more reasons to fancy its slick 2010 G37 line: special Anniversary Editions. Available as one of four models (sedan, AWD sedan, coupe, and convertible), the limited-edition G comes painted in new-for-2010 Graphite Shadow Metallic and wears aggressive new front fascias with black-painted grilles. Each Anniversary Edition also gets side-sill extensions, with the convertible getting a new rear fascia, too. New wheels wrapped in performance tires round out what’s “special” about these G37s, at least on the outside.
Inside, the seats are rendered in striking Monaco Red, and new trim materials—red-tinted Maple in the coupe and convertible, new “Shodo” aluminum in the sedan—line the cabin. Convertibles also add climate-controlled seats. All Anniversary Editions will include both the Premium and Navigation packages.
And each should be more than a little snappy to drive, with coupe and rear-wheel-drive sedan models being blessed with the Sport package and Infiniti’s four-wheel steering system. Three-hundred and fifty sedans, 200 coupes, and 200 convertibles will be built.
Pricing starts at $44,215 for the rear-drive sedan—the AWD four-door costs $200 more, but doesn’t have four-wheel steering—with the coupe ringing in at $51,415 and the convertible at $55,765. All go on sale in April as 2010 models.
